Re: Lotto
My old boss got 5 numbers and 47 for the bonus ball

The winning ball was 46

He would have won 8 million

He won 1800

Re: Lotto
4 numbers on the very first draw.

No-one knew what the prizes were back then so went out clubbing that night and spent like a sailor.

It was forty quid.

Syndicate that I ran at work a couple of years later pulled out the first four numbers... then none more. Still it was a thrill waiting for ball no. 5...

Re: Lotto
i love these idiots who believe because ball 25 has come out 50 times more than ball 26 , they then think 26 is a better bet than 25 is next time.

Re: Lotto
Ex girlfriends ex husbands work syndicate copped the jackpot once , but the prize was only 2.5 million from memory . By the time it was shared out he had enough to pay his mortgage , buy a 2nd hand bmw , fly to Disney with his kids and buy 3 season tickets for West Ham.

Still , house paid for is nothing to be sneezed at.

Fuck all but I new some of the Basildon bouncers who won a few quid back in the early Nineties. Their little syndicate won them about £800k each, nice. Ray was in the centre spread of the current bun.. good days !!

Re: Lotto
My bird won about £1200 about ten years ago. I don’t do it often, but got £30 on Saturday, most I’ve ever won.

Knew a fella many years back who bought two scratch cards. Won a fiver on the first one, 50k on the second.

Re: Lotto
£25, not a bad return for spending about £250 a year on tickets lol!

Just over £1700 a couple of years after it started. Pretty much fuck all since. It’s a game for mugs but there’s always hope

Re: Lotto
Played it every week since it first started... IIRC we was playing Sheff Weds away so got a couple of tickets up there... had a syndicate of 16 lines at work for about 10 years.... gave that up and joined a different syndicate at work with 20 people in it... I have bought 2 personal sat draw tickets every week....out of all those weeks and lines going we/I have had 4 numbers come up 4 times... biggest win was 90-00

£3707 in 2010 on Euromillions. It arrived the day I was flying to Thailand, so it didn't last long.

Re: Lotto
Me £87 quid years ago!! Next door neighbour had a disaster though few years back. Went to the shop for his usual 20 fags and Rich for Life Scratch Card. Young girl behind him so he opened the door for him. She went straight to the till for 20 fags and a Rich For Life Scratch card and whilst he was buying his she scratched her numbers off and won the jackpot. £40 grand a year for life. Never seen my neighbour in tears before!!!

An old work syndicate about 10 years ago we won £175k, just cleared a little over £21k. Didn’t seem to last too long either.
